    Where do you get mussels in US? I have seen it in the seafood section of grocery stores like Kroger in midwest. Is it going to taste the same like our “Kallumekkaya” ? I am so so desperate to cook this!!!!!! Thank you for posting this 🙂

    Thanks Anjali! The mussels available here tastes almost like the ones back home. You can find them in most of the Asian stores..

    i just love this seafood a lot…do you know where i can get cleaned kallumakka here in seattle? somehow, i just can’t buy the ones with shell on and clean…:(

      I think its available in the Asian stores here..I usually get it from an Asian store in Bellevue.

        Tried this one and it came out so yummy..:) .Thanks a lot maya. guess what, i found some cooked mussels in walmart in the frozen section and so it was easy for me. (i was thinking how to clean live ones 🙁

        I have been trying out some of your recipes these days and we are liking them a lot.. Next time, i make one of them, i will post them in facebook.. Keep adding more yummy recipes…:)
