The Winners of the giveaway and Indian Style Bean Salad Recipe

And…. the winners are Lekshmi,  Meena bala and Poonam! Congratulations you guys! I will be contacting you shortly. I thank all the readers who took time to write all those lovely comments. My heart got filled with joy as I read each one of it. Thank you so much for your support!

From the comments I got to know the favorite recipes of my US readers. Some of the dishes that were repeatedly mentioned by most readers were Cardamom cake, No-machine vanilla ice cream, Curd quinoa, Curry leaf pepper chicken, Beef biriyani, Sausage and spinach pesto pasta, Kerala sadya dishes, Baked masala chicken wingsChicken fry – less oil version, pal payasam, Pressure cooker chicken biriyani and fish biriyani.

This actually made me think of my favorite recipes ๐Ÿ™‚ There are 638 posts here on Yummy O Yummy. Each one is special to me as I want to give you all only the best. But then if you ask me to name the food I enjoy most, the answer definitely is Biriyani in any form and Kerala Sadya.

Here is a small list of some of my most favorite recipes that are sure to be a hit at any party. Do give them a try – Chocolate ice cream, Chicken mappas, Minestrone soupVegetable egg noodles, Veg biriyani with green apple raita, Paneer do Pyaza, Spicy chicken biriyani, Duck curry and Mutton curry with coconut milk to go with rice. There are plenty more here so just take your pick!

I got suggestions to post more kids-friendly dishes, gluten-free recipes and party menu. Also, some readers wanted to see video recipes. I have done a few videos for DC Books, but video posts take time, and with a toddler running around it becomes a daunting task!

People always ask how I cook with my kiddo around. It is so not fun! Aarav has become a lot better in letting me cook and blog and is going to daycare twice a week.   But still he gets hyper if he see me taking pictures for the blog. Some days he just photobombs my pics. Like this one time.. Just see for yourself what he did last week!Smile

This week you will see three or four new yummy recipes. We three were down with fever so couldn’t post anything last week. Today I have a simple, healthy and yummy Indian style 3 bean salad for you. To make things easier, you can use canned beans. You can have it as a snack or as a light healthy lunch/dinner. It will keep well for a couple of days in the refrigerator. I have plenty of other yummy salad recipes as well. Can’t wait to share them with you all.  Enjoy this recipe for now..Thanks again for all your encouraging comments!
