Ingredients (Serves 4)
- Chicken wings – 3/4 kg (I used drumette, the meatier part of a chicken wing)
Garlic powder – 1/4 tsp
Onion powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Italian seasoning – 1/2 tsp
Salt – As required
2. Unsalted butter, melted or olive oil – 3 tbsp or as required
Garlic minced – 1.5 – 2 tsp
Crushed chili flakes – 1/2 – 3/4 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – 1 – 2 pinches or to taste
Minced parsley – 1 + 1 tbsp
Parmesan cheese – 1/4 + 1/4 cup
Method
- Preheat oven at 450 F.
2. Combine the chicken wings with the other ingredients numbered 1. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with foil.
3. Bake at 450 F for 12 minutes. Flip them to the other side and bake for another 12 minutes. Now turn the oven to broil mode. Broil for 4 – 5 minutes until they turn crisp and golden brown. Take the baking tray out of the oven.
4. Meanwhile combine melted butter with the remaining ingredients numbered 2 (you can add parmesan cheese later also).
5. Add the baked chicken wings to the melted butter mixture and toss well. Now sprinkle 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, 1 tbsp minced parsley and toss well. Transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle parmesan cheese, minced parsley and serve immediately.
