Idlis – 5
Butter – 1.5 – 2 tbsp
Onion – 3 – 4 tbsp, finely chopped
Cilantro – 3 tbsp, finely chopped
Idli podi /Andhra gun powder – 2 tsp or to taste
Salt – 1 pinch or to taste (optional)
Heat butter in a tawa at medium-low heat. Add onion, cilantro, gun powder/idli podi and a pinch of salt. Cook for 1 minute. Place the idlis on top and coat well with this masala on both sides. Cook for a minute and switch off. Serve with coconut chutney.
