Ingredients (Serves 3)
1. Tostitos scoops – Around 20
For Chana Chaat
2. Cooked white chana – 3/4 cup (Soak dried white chana in enough water for 8 hrs. Cook it for 1 whistle in a pressure cooker adding enough water and salt until soft and done. Drain and set aside to cool.)
3. Red onion – 3 tbsp, finely chopped
Cilantro – 3 tbsp, finely chopped
Green chilly – 1 small, minced (optional)
Roasted cumin powder – 1 pinch (optional)
Chaat masala – 1/4 – 1/2 tsp or to taste
Tamarind sauce – 2 – 3 tsp or as required to taste
Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp or to taste
Chilly powder – 1/4 tsp
Melted butter / extra virgin olive oil – 1/2 – 1 tsp
Salt – To taste
4. Sev – 1/4 cup
Method
1. Combine the cooked chana with all ingredients numbered 3 in a small bowl. Fill each tostitos scoop with a tbsp of the channa chaat. Top with sev. Serve immediately.

How do you make the tamarind sauce?
Sorry, I dont have a recipe for tamarind sauce. I always use store-bought tamarind sauce.
