Ingredients
- Cashew nuts – 1 cup
2. Oil – 2 – 3 tsp
3. Curry leaves – A few
4. Turmeric powder –1 pinch
Chilly powder – 1/4 – 1/2 tsp (or as required)
Hing / asafoetida – A tiny pinch
Pepper powder – 1/8 tsp
Salt – To taste
Method
Heat 2 – 3 tsp oil in a kadai over medium high heat. Fry a few curry leaves and drain to a bowl. Add cashews and stir for a few minutes until golden. Transfer to the same bowl. Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, hing, pepper powder and salt, to taste. Toss well. Serve after 15 minutes.
