Ingredients
1. Day old baguette/Italian bread – 5 slices (I used classic sourdough bread)
2. Olive oil – 3 – 4 tbsp (You can use melted butter instead)
Garlic powder – 1/4 tsp, heaped
Parmesan cheese – 2 tbsp, grated
Coarse ground pepper – 1/4 tsp
Dried thyme – 1/4 tsp
Dried oregano / Italian seasoning – 1/4 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp, powdered
Method
1. Preheat oven at 350 F.
2. Cut the bread slices into small cubes.
3. Combine all the ingredients numbered 2 in a small bowl. Pour over the bread cubes and toss well. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with aluminium foil and bake for 11 – 12 minutes until golden and crisp. Cool completely and transfer to an air tight container.
