Ingredients

1. Large prawns – 20 – 22
2. Coarsely ground pepper – 1 – 1.5 tsp (Adjust according to your spice tolerance)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri chilly powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Rice flour – 1 tsp
Corn starch – 1 tsp
Lime juice – 2 tsp
Salt – To taste
3. Egg – 2 tbsp, beaten
4. Curry leaves – 15
Green chilies – 3, slit
Method
1. Combine all the ingredients numbered 2. Taste-check for salt. Add beaten egg and mix well. Next add prawns and mix until prawns are well-coated with the masala. Deep/shallow fry prawns until crispy, browned and done, about 2 minutes on each side. Drain on to a paper towel.
2. In the remaining marinade, add curry leaves and green chilies. Mix well and fry for 30 seconds or until crisp. Combine with fried prawns and serve hot. This prawn pepper fry is super-yummy friends..do try it out!
