Vendakka Green Beans Mezhukkupuratti/ Ularthiyathu

Ingredients (Serves 3 – 4)

  1. Vendakka / okra – 10 – 15, diagonally sliced

Green beans – 10 – 15, diagonally sliced

2. Coconut oil – 2 – 3 tsp

3. Garlic – 3 small cloves, crushed

Dried red chilies – 2 – 3 or 1/2 tsp crushed chili flakes

Shallots – 3 – 4, crushed

Curry leaves – A few

Salt – To taste

Method

Heat coconut oil and add crushed garlic, shallots and chili flakes. Stir for a minute and add okra, green beans, salt and curry leaves. Cover and cook for a few minutes. Open the lid and cook for 7 – 8 minutes until veggies are completely done.
