Chakka Pazham Puzhungiyathu / Steamed Jackfruit

Chakkapazham Puzhungiyathu


1. Medium ripe jackfruit / chakka pazham (kumbazham)  – 25 – 30

2. Grated coconut – 1/2 cup

3. Dried ginger powder / chukku podi – 1/4 tsp

4. Salt – 1 pinch


Cook the jackfruit in a steamer for about 15mts. Combine it with grated coconut, dried ginger powder and a pinch of salt. Serve hot or warm.
