Ingredients (Serves 2 – 3)
1. Oil โ 1 tsp
Dried red chilies โ 6 – 7
Garlic โ 7 – 8 medium cloves, cut into thin rounds
2. Grated coconut – 1 cup, packed
Salt โ To taste
Method
1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a small pan. Fry dried red chilies and drain. Next fry chopped garlic until golden brown. Cool down and grind them along with grated coconut and salt to a fine paste adding little water if required. Enjoy with idli / dosa.

Hi Maya,
Do u hav any idea to boost the taste of frozen coconut while using in chutney. I microwave for a few secs. But then also it doesn’t tastes good. Its difficult to use fresh coconut here always.
