Ingredients
1. Linguine pasta – 1/2 pound
2. Shrimp – 18 – 20, peeled
3. Olive oil – 1.5 tbsp
Butter – 1.5 tbsp
4. Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
5. Crushed chilly flakes – 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 pinch
Fresh lemon juice – 2 – 3 tsp
Sliced lemon – 3 – 4 pieces
Lemon zest – of 1/2 lemon
Parsley – 1/4 cup, finely or to taste
7. Salt – To taste
Method
1. Boil water in a pot adding salt and 1 tsp oil. Add linguine pasta and cook according to package directions.
2. Heat butter and oil in a pan at medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add shrimp, pinch of salt and pepper and cook for 4 – 5 minutes until done. Add crushed chilly flakes, lemon juice, sliced lemon, lemon zest and mix well. Immediately add the cooked linguine pasta and toss well. Sprinkle 2 – 3 tbsp parmesan cheese (optional, I didn’t add). Serve hot.
