Kerala Style Omelet

Kerala special omelet


1. Eggs – 2

2. Oil – 1 tsp

3. Pearl onions – 2- 3, thinly sliced

Ginger – 1/2 tsp, minced

Green chilly – 1, chopped

Curry leaves – 2 – 3, torn

Tomato – 2 – 3 tbsp, seeds removed and chopped

Grated coconut – 1 – 2 tsp (optiona)

Milk/water – 1 tsp

Salt and pepper – To taste


Beat eggs in a bowl. Combine it with the other ingredients (except oil) and whisk well.

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan at medium heat. Pour the beaten egg. Cook for a few minutes until set. Flip to the other side. Cook for a few seconds and switch off. Serve with rice and other side-dishes.
