Garlic Butter Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients
1. Shrimp – 15 medium-large or jumbo, cleaned
2. Salt – As required to taste
3. Olive oil – 2 tsp + butter – 2 tsp
4. Garlic – 4 medium cloves, minced
5. Butter – 1 tbsp
Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
6. Fresh lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Parsley – 2 – 3 tbsp, finely chopped
Butter – 1 – 1.5 tbsp
Method
Heat 2 tsp oilve oil + 2 tsp butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for a minute until they develop some color. Flip to the other side. Add minced garlic, crushed chilly flakes and mix well. Bring down the heat to medium-low and cook for a minute. Next add 1 tbsp butter and pepper powder. Continue to cook for 2 – 3 minutes over low heat until shrimp is completely cooked through. Stir in lemon juice, finely chopped parsley and 1 – 1.5 tbsp butter. Switch off. Mix well and taste-check for salt. If you’d like it extra buttery, add more butter now. Serve immediately with pasta / baguette or over rice.
