Ingredients
Salmon – Around 400 gm, cut into 3 – 4 equal-sized pieces
Olive oil or avocado oil – 1 – 1.5 tbsp
Paprika / kashmiri chilli powder – 1.5 – 2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp (optional)
Garlic powder – 1/4 tsp
Onion powder – 1/2 tsp
Crushed chili flakes – 1/2 tsp (optional)
Salt and pepper – As required to taste
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Method
- Combine salmon with all the other ingredients. Set aside for 15 minutes.
2. Preheat oven at 425 F.
3. Line a baking sheet with aluminium foil and grease it well.
4. Arrange the salmon pieces on the foil. Bake for around 13 – 15 minutes until salmon is cooked through. Turn the oven to broil mode. Broil for 2 – 3 minutes until browned on top. Take out the baking sheet. You can brush the baked salmon with melted butter if you want. Serve immediately. We had it with summer corn succotash.
